I specialize in chronic conditions such as type II diabetes, hypertension, fatigue, depression, anxiety, hypercholesterolemia, autoimmune conditions, insomnia, ADD/ADHD, allergies, food intolerances, gastritis, arthritis, and asthma, among others. I'm also pretty good with acute conditions, such as sinusitis, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, sprains and strains, etc.
Here's a short educational biography on me:
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University, in 1988. After practicing as a retail pharmacist in the greater Richmond area for a decade, I attended Bastyr University, earning a doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine in 2004. Because of my unique education and training, I understand both conventional medicine as well as natural forms of healing.
Basically, if you're happy with conventional medicine, stay with your current treatment plan! If you ask more questions than your medical doctor has time or information to answer, if conventional medicine is failing you, if you are on multiple supplements and/or herbal medicines, or if you're basically well and want to remain so as you age, give me a call.
