The OCA is an online and grassroots non-profit 501(c)3 public interest organization campaigning for health, justice, and sustainability. The OCA deals with crucial issues of food and drug safety, industrial chemicals, environmental concerns and more.
  
The National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM)   http://www.ncnm.edu/
NCNM offers three graduate professional degrees in accredited and recognized programs that prepare you for licensed practice in many states and provinces:
  • Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine, a four-year program of clinical sciences and holistic methods of healing and disease prevention, instilled with the ancient principle of the healing power of nature.
  • Master of Science in Oriental Medicine, a four-year program that delves deeply into thousands of years of classical Chinese methods of diagnostics and healing, using herbs, acupuncture, bodywork and therapeutic exercise.
  • Master of Acupuncture, this four-year program has a foundation identical to that of the MSOM program without the herb courses. Upper level courses focus in particular on the clinical application of acupuncture and moxibustion techniques.
The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (AANP)  http://naturopathic.org/
The national organization for Naturopathic Physicians whose purpose is to serve our members by advancing the profession of naturopathic medicine and preserving its integrity.
The vision is to transform the healthcare system from a disease management system to a comprehensive health program incorporating the principles of naturopathic medicine. They believe that every American has the right to choose a naturopathic doctor and every naturopathic doctor has the opportunity to be a successful practitioner.
  
The North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE)  http://www.nabne.org/
An international - US/ Canadian- examining board for eligible Naturopathic Physicians. The North American Board of Naturopathic Examiners (NABNE) was established in 1999. The five-member NABNE Board of Directors oversees the operation of the organization. A 25-member Advisory Council, comprised of representatives of all concerned constituencies, advises the Board regarding eligibility and exam administration policies.

National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)  http://www.nccaom.org/
"The mission of the NCCAOM is to establish, assess, and promote recognized standards of competence and safety in acupuncture and Oriental medicine for the protection and benefit of the public. There are currently over 14,000 active Diplomates practicing under NCCAOM certifications in Acupuncture, Oriental Medicine, Chinese Herbology and Asian Bodywork Therapy. In year 2007, NCCAOM celebrated its 25th anniversary." 
  
The American Herbal Pharmacopoeia (AHP)  http://www.herbal-ahp.org/
"The Mission of the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia® (AHP) is to promote the responsible use of herbal medicines and ensure they are used with the highest possible degree of efficacy and safety. Our primary way to accomplish this is through the development of standards of identity, purity, and analysis for botanicals, as well as to critically review traditional and scientific data regarding their efficacy and safety."

AAAOM's Mission Statement is "to promote excellence and integrity in the professional practice of acupuncture and Oriental medicine, in order to enhance public health and well-being."
