Welcome!

Thanks so much for taking an interest in what I hope is going to be a wonderful journey for you towards optimal health. Optimal health from a naturopathic perspective encompasses the whole person. This means the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness of the individual.

Naturopathic Medicine:

As a naturopathic physician, I believe that food is medicine. To work with me is to work with your diet and your lifestyle as an important part of your healing. I treat all kinds of illness, both chronic and acute with dietary changes, herbs and nutritional supplementation. Dietary changes will always be the cornerstone to permanent changes in your health. Therefore, I guide you as to the right foods to eat for you as an individual. This can be achieved through a thorough intake, food allergy testing, a cleansing program, routine blood testing, placing you an an individualized diet and more. As a result, I guide you to the perfect food plan for YOU. This will empower you and you will see powerful changes daily!

Midwifery

As a naturopathic physician and midwife, I believe that true preventative medicine starts in the womb. This starts with optimal nutrition with the pregnant mother. It is my passion to work as a midwife to facilitate natural childbirth in the comfort of your own home. Have you ever considered a waterbirth? Please ask about this option. I offer waterbirths, which are a wonderful, gentle entry into this world. Imagine coming into this world...from water to water. I had a waterbirth with my second homebirthed baby and loved it!

After the gentle experience of natural childbirth, I am able to care for your child as their pediatrician throughout each stage of their life.

I get to know each mother-to-be through regular, frequent appointments during their pregnancy. As a result of this, there is much trust and a close bond at the time of the birth. This is of great support to the mother, to the partner, the family and of course, to the baby.
